Once again we'll be active in the HF IOTA Contest after of 3V8SM Djerba Island 2005 and ED7SPI Sancti Petri Island 2006.

This year we'll be on air as AN8L from Lobos Island (IOTA AF-004) during the HF IOTA Contest 2008 (July 26th and 27th).

Between July 22th to 29th and outside the contest we'll use the calls AM8IL, EH8RDB and EH8VCL.

The Lobos Island is an island of the Atlantic Ocean, It is placed north of Fuerteventura Island and is uninhabited.

After several months of hard work, we got the permits thanks to the Canary Islands authorities.

We'll be active from 6 to 160 meters (include Warc bands) in CW, SSB and RTTY with at least 3 or 4 stations at the same time in two different camps and also a portable station for EH8RDB and EH8VCL.
